SIMAI 2025

Call for MS

Plenary Lectures will be complemented by Minisymposia organized by recognised experts in targeted research areas and related to all the important topics of the conference.

Participants interested in organizing an Minisymposia at SIMAI 2025 are requested to submit an abstract of their proposal in PDF Format by using the template available here.

The abstract should briefly illustrate the contents and objectives of the Minisymposia, as well as the name of the organizers. The list of prospective speakers is not required.

We particularly encourage proposals for Mini-Symposia in new and developing areas that broaden the fields of application.

Each MS may have one or more organizers. For organizational reasons, a Corresponding MS Organizer (who will submit the MS proposal and be in contact with the Conference Secretariat) must be appointed.

Minisymposia are organized in slots of 2.30 hour for 6 talks of 20 minutes + 5 minutes discussion. Alternatively, one may propose a keynote of 50 minutes + 4 talks. If you plan a minisymposium with more than 6 talks you have to submit two minisymposia (Part 1 and Part 2). Minisymposia with less than 6 talks (o 5 in case of keynote) may be requested to complete the slots with contributed talk selected by the Scientific Committee.

Please also note that only one contribution is allowed per registered speaker.

Minisymposia proposals, should be submitted through the conference website no later than 11 April 2025. This is a sharp deadline, with no planned extension.
